Ostuni - Alberobello - Trulli - Pogliano A Mare - Zoo Fosani - Bari
You meet your tour leader at Malta International Airport by 13.15 am for a 16.35 am Ryanair flight to Bari. Upon arrival, our driver will wait for us and transfer us to Ostuni, known as the "White City" for its stunning whitewashed architecture. Enjoy free time to explore the town's charming streets, historical sites, and scenic views. Afterwards, transfer to Alberobello for check-in at the hotel. After settling down in our rooms later we meet for a magical evening stroll through the fairy-tale-like Trulli houses illuminated at night.
Today an optional full-day tour to Zoo Safari Fasanolandia in Fasano. The park offers a drive-through safari with diverse wildlife, including lions and giraffes, and an amusement park with rides and attractions for all ages. It also features restaurants, shops, and rest areas. For those not visiting the zoo, explore the area, or enjoy free time in Alberobello.
After breakfast, explore the Trulli houses during the day, where you can admire the unique architecture and shop for souvenirs. Enjoy leisure time in Alberobello, after we drive to Polignano a Mare, a picturesque coastal town in Puglia, that is famed for its dramatic cliffs, clear waters, and historic charm, including the ancient sea caves like Grotta Palazzese. It is known as the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, the renowned singer-songwriter famous for his hit song "Volare." A statue and a museum commemorate his contributions to Italian music. The town offers a blend of stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, making it a popular destination for visitors.
On our last day after breakfast we checkout and drive to Bari where we’ll explore Bari’s historic old town, featuring the Basilica of San Nicola, a significant pilgrimage site known for its Romanesque architecture and relics of Saint Nicholas. We’ll also visit the bustling markets and picturesque streets of the city center. Later, we’ll transfer to Bari Airport at 19.00 for our 21.40 flight back to Malta.
