On departure day, we will meet at MIA at 07.30 to meet your tour leader for your flight to Colombo. We are expected to arrive at Colombo Airport the next day.
In the morning, we will have our coach waiting for us to start our visit on the Colombo city tour. Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka, is a vibrant mix of modern urban life and colonial-era architecture. Known for it bustling markets, rich cultural sites, and picturesque waterfront, it serves as the country's commercial and financial hub. The tour will include visits to landmarks such as Gangaramaya Temple, Beira Lake, Independence Square, the Colombo National Museum, Pettah Market, and Galle Face Green.
After the tour, we will check in at our hotel in Colombo, and dinner will be served at the hotel.
After breakfast, we travel to Sigiriya. After we have settled ourselves in the Hotel, we will visit the Pidurangala Rock is a captivating natural landmark near Sigiriya, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including the iconic Sigiriya Rock. It features a serene hike to the summit, where visitors can explore ancient Buddhist temples and enjoy stunning vistas.
Later, we do the Village tour, including lunch. We experience rural life on a village safari, featuring oxen cart rides, catamaran trips, and a traditional lunch with locals. Going back to our coach, we will experience a drive by tuk-tuk.
After the village safari, we visit the Dambulla Buddhist Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is known for its impressive cave temples, beautiful Buddhist murals, and over 150 Buddha statues. Dating back to the 1st century BCE, it offers a peaceful glimpse into Sri Lanka’s rich spiritual heritage.
We go to our hotel in Dambulla for our dinner and rest for the next adventure.
Today, after breakfast, we start our way to Kandy with different stops. Our first stop is Mathale Hindu Temple is a historic Hindu temple in Sri Lanka known for its vibrant architecture and religious significance. It is a sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva and attracts many devotees, especially during festivals.
We continue our trip to the Ayurvedic herbal garden, which is a sanctuary of medicinal plants used in traditional Ayurvedic healing. It nurtures herbs like turmeric, ashwagandha, and neem, offering a natural approach to holistic wellness and healing.
We also have time to visit the Kandy Temple, also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which is a revered Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. It houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and is a UNESCO World Heritage site, attracting pilgrims and visitors worldwide.
Our next stop is a wooden factory jem an jewelery. Kandy is home to skilled woodcraft factories and renowned gem & jewelry shops. Visitors can watch traditional wood carving, mask making, and lacquer work, as well as witness gem cutting and jewelry crafting featuring Sri Lanka’s famous sapphires and precious stones.
Before dinner, we go to the Kandyan dancing is a dynamic and graceful traditional art form of Sri Lanka known for its vibrant costumes, rhythmic drumming, and acrobatic movements. Deeply tied to cultural and religious ceremonies, it is a highlight of performances in Kandy, especially at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Head back to our hotel in Kandy to unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner. Take this time to relax and share reflections on the day’s experiences, reminiscing about the cultural wonders and memorable moments.
After breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya, renowned for its vast collection of plants, orchids, and towering trees, offering a peaceful stroll through lush greenery.
We then head to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to the world’s largest herd of captive elephants, where you can watch these majestic creatures being bathed, fed, and cared for in their natural habitat.
Next, we visit the Ambuluwawa Tower, located on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, perfect for scenic photos and a refreshing experience amidst nature.
Our journey continues to a local tea plantation, where we learn about the tea-making process, from plucking to processing, followed by a tour of the factory where you can taste some of Sri Lanka’s finest teas. After a full day of exploration, we head to our hotel in Ramboda for a delicious dinner and rest.
We start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before visiting the Ramboda Waterfall, a stunning 100-meter cascade nestled in the lush hills of Sri Lanka. The waterfall is not only a beautiful sight but also a popular spot for nature lovers.
Next, we head to the famous Nine Arch Bridge, an iconic railway bridge built during British colonial rule in the 1920s, known for its impressive design and scenic surroundings.
We then take a 40-minute train trip, offering a unique opportunity to experience the picturesque countryside of Sri Lanka, passing through tea plantations and rolling hills. Following the train journey, we head to Ella, a charming town known for its natural beauty, where you can enjoy stunning views of waterfalls, tea gardens, and the surrounding mountains.
Our day concludes with a visit to Little Adam’s Peak, offering a short hike with breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and tea plantations. One can do a zipline optional.
After the day's adventures, we return to our hotel in Ella for dinner.
Following breakfast, we head to the breathtaking Ravana Waterfall, one of the largest and most famous waterfalls in Sri Lanka, located near Ella. The waterfall, named after the legendary king Ravana, cascades down in two main streams, offering a stunning sight amidst lush greenery and a perfect spot for photography or a peaceful nature walk.
Next, we embark on an exciting Yala Safari at Yala National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and scenic beauty. As we explore the park's vast landscapes, we may encounter a variety of animals, including elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and an array of bird species. The park is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular safari destinations, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.
After a day filled with nature and adventure, we return to our hotel in Mirissa to enjoy a delicious dinner, reflecting on the day’s experiences in the tranquil surroundings.
Following our morning meal, we head out for an exciting whale-watching adventure off the coast of Mirissa, one of the best places in Sri Lanka to spot blue whales and other marine life. Following the tour, we visit the scenic Coconut Hills in Mirissa, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the coastline and lush landscapes. Next, we take some time to relax at Mirissa Beach, a beautiful stretch of sand perfect for a swim or a leisurely walk.
We then travel to the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can explore the colonial-era architecture, narrow streets, and breathtaking sea views. After a day filled with exploration, we head to our hotel in Negambo (near the airport) for a delicious dinner and a restful evening.
Today, we depart from Sri Lanka and fly to Male Airport in the Maldives. We are expected to arrive around 8:30 a.m., where our guide will be waiting to escort us to the speedboat for our transfer to Gulhi Island.

We get our breakfasts and here begins your adventure in the Maldives, where you’ll explore a variety of exciting excursions, from tranquil island visits to vibrant underwater experiences, such as parasailing, swimming with turtles on a reef, swimming with nurse sharks, mantas and sting rays watching, and lunch on a sandbank and visiting neighboring islands. These excursions are optional.

On the last day in the Maldives, after breakfast, we checked out, leave our luggage at the reception, and take this opportunity to relax and savor the last moments in the Maldives. Whether it's lounging by the beach, enjoying a leisurely stroll, or soaking in the serene surroundings, make the most of this tranquil paradise before departing for your journey back home.
We will take a speedboat from Gulhi Island to Male Airport at 17:00. From there, we’ll catch our late flight to Malta, bringing our unforgettable Maldivian adventure to a close.
We arrive in Malta at approximately 08:45 am, full of memories and photos to share with our loved ones, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
